Stone Sour paid tribute to Chris Cornell at their final show on the 18th in Ohio. Vocalist Corey Taylor gave a speech about Cornell, who died on the 17th, and the band played a cover of Soundgarden's "Outshined".

“We lost a brother of Rock today. As you know, we lost Chris Cornell from Soundgarden today, unfortunately. He was one of my favorite vocalists, one of my favorite songwriters of all time, and the fact that he’s no longer here makes the world a little smaller. So now, let’s make some noise for Chris Cornell. I had the pleasure of spending time with him, and he was honestly one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met in my entire life. So we decided that we’re going to pay tribute to Mr. Cornell tonight. We learned this song today. Actually, I’m not even sure we’ve managed to learn it yet. But damn, we’re going to do our best. I’m going to do my best.”
